More than 15 reports of alleged explosive devices at government facilities were received in a short period of time in Bishkek, the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek reported.
Following the alerts, police cordoned off the affected areas, evacuated staff and visitors, and deployed investigative teams, specialized services, and K-9 units with service dogs.
According to law enforcement agencies, inspections have already been completed at most of the sites, and no explosive devices were found.
Checks are still ongoing at several locations. Law enforcement agencies are working to identify the circumstances of the incidents and those responsible for sending false reports.
Additional information will be released after all inspections are completed.
