Deputies of the Zhogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of Kyrgyzstan have been provided with tablets, MP Dastan Bekeshev reported.
According to him, the devices were already tested on April 3 during a meeting of the parliamentary committee on budget.
It is noted that speakers will now be able to connect specialists and department heads online directly during meetings. All materials will be stored in the cloud, eliminating the need for printed copies.
Bekeshev said this will significantly reduce costs, as some draft laws exceed 100 pages and were previously printed for all deputies.
He also added that MPs will be able to use artificial intelligence to summarize documents, but emphasized the importance of not overusing such tools.
