Sadyr Japarov instructs Dastan plant to begin production of drones

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov today inspected the operations of Dastan Transnational Corporation OJSC, the presidential press service reported.

The president inspected the plant’s production facilities, including specialized product lines. The production of torpedoes remains one of the plant’s key areas of focus.

During the visit, the president instructed relevant government agencies and the plant’s management to organize the production of domestically produced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

«This objective is aimed at strengthening the country’s defense industrial potential, developing high-tech industries, and reducing dependence on imported products,» the press service emphasized.

Sadyr Japarov noted the need to actively implement modern technologies to enhance the competitiveness of the plant’s products.
