The Central Commission for Elections and Referendums of Kyrgyzstan (CEC) has prematurely terminated the mandate of Gulsunkan Zhunushalieva, a deputy of the Zhogorku Kenesh.
The decision was made on March 16 during a meeting of the commission based on the MP’s personal letter of resignation.
The certificate issued to Gulsunkan Zhunushalieva has been declared invalid.
She was elected to Parliament from multi-mandate electoral district No. 29.
