AS Art Gallery in Naryn was transferred to the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan. The press service of the ministry reported.
The philanthropist Askar Salymbekov (co-owner of Dordoi business empire. — Note of 24.kg news agency) handed over the keys to the exhibition to the Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy Altynbek Maksutov, after which a tour was organized for him.
The gallery was opened on June 23, 2001. It was created by Askar Salymbekov and his wife Gulmira Mambetalieva. Works by local and metropolitan artists, masters of art photography from the USA, France and Great Britain were exhibited there.
