The Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (SDMK) announce a competition to design clothing for pilgrims, who will take part in the hajj in 2025.
Applications and documents must be submitted by October 25, and the contest will be held on November 14, the SDMK said.
Those wishing to participate in the contest should submit an application to the head of the temporary republican headquarters for organizing the hajj, attach copies of documents confirming the absence of a criminal record for economic crimes, as well as meet other requirements.
Earlier, the muftiyat reported that 3,258 people have already made an initial payment of $2,000 and non-refundable 1,200 soms in RSK Bank to participate in the pilgrimage.
Saudi Arabia provided 6,000 quotas for participation of pilgrims from the Kyrgyz Republic in the hajj 2025.
