Investors propose to build a metro in the capital. Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Dzhunushaliev announced at a meeting of Parliament.
Deputy Eldar Abakirov noted that the population of Osh and Bishkek is growing rapidly. The number of residents in the capital has exceeded 2 million people, so it is necessary to start building a metro.
«A meeting will be held next Friday. Investors engaged in construction of metro contact us. They will voice their proposals. We will consider them, if they are acceptable, then we are ready to begin,» the mayor said.
Recall, MP Arslanbek Maliev also proposed to build a metro in Bishkek using investors’ funds.
