Law enforcement officers detained the former founder and CEO of construction companies, the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek reported.
The police reported that citizens contacted the investigative service of the capital’s Main Internal Affairs Department asking to take action against the former owner of the construction company. According to them, he, in collusion with other officials of the company, having promised to provide apartments, caused material damage to shareholders in the amount of more than 61 million soms.
Law enforcement officers opened a case under the article «Fraud» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The former founder and CEO of the company, 33-year-old man, was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
The investigation is ongoing.
A source in law enforcement agencies told 24.kg news agency that it was the former owner of the construction company Emacom, who was also a deputy of the Parliament, Emilbek Dzhusupov. In April 2024, he resigned as a deputy and gave up his mandate.
Emilbek Dzhusupov was born on April 21, 1991, in Kozho-Aryk village, Nookat district, Osh region.
He has a higher education. In 2008, he entered the Osh State Law Institute and graduated from the Faculty of Management and Law.
