Contraband cargo consisting of dental implants, spare parts for them, instruments and personal computer components was detained at Manas airport. The press service of the State Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
«During the inspection of baggage that arrived on an Asiana Airlines flight on Incheon-Almaty-Bishkek route, a citizen of the Republic of Korea was detained, who attempted to illegally import dental products (implants, spare parts for them, instruments) and personal computer components in the amount of 761 pieces,» the statement says.
The collected materials have been transferred to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic for further investigation.
