The City Hall showed what the new Bishkek bus station located at the intersection of the bypass road and Alma-Atinskaya street looks like.
The municipality recalled that at the second People’s Kurultai, President Sadyr Japarov announced the transfer of Osh market, Western and Eastern bus stations outside the city.
The Bishkek bus station (Bishkekavtobeketi municipal enterprise) was organized to move the Eastern bus station outside the capital.
Its area is about 5 hectares. The City Hall launched a new bus route No. 146 to the bus station. The buses will run to Chon-Aryk village.
A multi-level parking may appear instead of the Eastern bus station. There are also plans to create a park in this area. The Eastern bus station building will not be demolished, as it is on the state list of historical and cultural monuments of republican significance.
