Employees of the Main Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs revealed facts of corruption in the tax sphere. The press service of the ministry reported.
An employee of the State Tax Service for Uzgen district of Osh region extorted money from a resident of the region for falsifying the results of a tax audit and concealing an alleged tax debt exceeding 700,000 soms. He demanded 200,000 soms as a bribe.
On December 20, he was detained while taking the bribe, after which he was placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative measures are being carried out.
