Security services of Kyrgyzstan neutralized a sustainable channel for narcotic drugs trafficking through Manas International Airport. The press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) reported.
It was found out that some entrepreneurs organized a sustainable scheme for narcotic substances trafficking from near and far abroad in Kyrgyzstan.
In particular, the SCNS together with the customs of Manas airport detected almost 7-8 tons of poppy straw in a batch of confectionery poppy seeds (24.3 tons). Two citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and one citizen of the near abroad were detained.
The seized narcotic substances were handed over to the relevant authorities for examination.
