Foreign nationals suspected of drug distribution and running drug den

Two foreign nationals have been detained in Alamedin district of Chui region on suspicion of drug trafficking and operating a drug den.

According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Chui region, officers from the Drug Control Service received information about individuals allegedly involved in large-scale hashish distribution in the district.

A criminal case was opened under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. During operational measures, police identified the suspects as foreign citizens M.A., 25, and A.R., 22.

During a search of their residence, law enforcement officers seized 66 grams of hashish. Investigators believe the suspects were not only distributing narcotics but had also organized a location in their home for drug use.

Officers also established that the suspects allegedly involved an underage girl in the use of narcotic substances.

Both suspects have been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. By decision of the Alamedin District Court, they were taken into custody .

Investigative actions are ongoing.
