12 documents signed as a result of CIS summit in Bishkek

The meeting of the Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) ended in Bishkek. The Prime Ministers signed 12 agreements.

The Heads of Government approved the following documents:

1. On holding the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

2. On the interstate program of cooperation of the CIS countries in the field of geodesy, cartography, spatial data, geoinformation technologies, remote sensing of the Earth, cadastral registration and registration of rights to real estate for the period until 2026.

3. On the concept of digital transformation of industries of the fuel and energy complex of the CIS countries and the plan of priority measures for its implementation.

4. On the interstate target program «Reclamation of territories of states affected by uranium mining production.»

5. On a set of measures for the implementation of the agreement on cooperation of the CIS countries in the mining and metallurgical industry of October 28, 2016.

6. On the regulations on technological platforms within the framework of the interstate program of innovative cooperation of the CIS countries for the period until 2030.

7. On the plan of activities for the preparation and celebration in 2025 in the Commonwealth of Independent States of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

8. On the action plan for holding the Year of Volunteer Movement in the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2024.

9. About the CIS championship (championship, cup).

10. On financial support for the activities of bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States:

  • On funding in 2024 of activities to continue in 2020–2024 the search for military personnel who went missing during the war in Afghanistan in 1979–1989, the search for burial sites, exhumation, identification of remains and their reburial in their homeland.
  • On financing in 2024 activities to implement the interstate program to improve the quality of life of war veterans — participants of local conflicts and members of their families in the CIS countries for 2021–2025.
  • On the use of funds for the creation and development of a joint air defense system in the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and ensuring the activities of the coordinating committee on air defense issues under the Council of Defense Ministers of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2022.
  • On the allocation of funds for the creation and development of a joint air defense system of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2024.
  • On amendments to the decision of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS dated May 25, 2007 on financial support for the activities of the bodies of the interstate fund for humanitarian cooperation of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the maximum number of its executive directorate.
  • On the execution of the unified budget of the bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2022 and some issues of financial support for the activities of the CIS bodies in 2023 and 2024.
  • On changing the size of shared contributions of the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States to the unified budget of the CIS bodies.
  • On the unified budget of the bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States for 2024.

11. On amendments to the legal acts of the Commonwealth of Independent States concerning the financial aspects of the activities of CIS bodies:

  • On amendments to the regulations on the unified budget of the bodies of the Commonwealth of Independent States;
  • On the procedure for repaying the debt of the CIS countries to the unified budget of the CIS bodies.

12. About a single anniversary medal for the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.
