The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan is conducting an official investigation into the incident in the Issyk-Kul regional maternity hospital, where the baby’s collarbone was broken at birth. Press center of the ministry reported.
A special group has been created that will conduct a comprehensive analysis of compliance with medical standards at each stage of childbirth to clarify the circumstances of the incident and give a medical assessment of the incident.
The ministry added that the internal affairs authorities began their own investigation into this case. The work of the medical personnel involved in this incident will also be legally assessed and the most stringent measures will be applied in case of violations.
«At the moment, both the baby and his mother are receiving the necessary medical treatment to ensure their full recovery,» the Ministry of Health said.
