Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan demarcate 101.86-kilometer border section

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have demarcated 101.86-kilometer border section. Media of the neighboring republic report, citing the head of the State Committee for Land Management and Geodesy of the Republic of Tajikistan Orif Khojazoda.

It is reported that Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan signed a draft description of the disputed section of the border. According to the document, a section with a length of 101.86 kilometers was demarcated.

According to the head of the relevant department of the Republic of Tajikistan, seven meetings were held between the topographic commissions of the two countries.

Earlier, the Presidential Envoy to Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, Abdikarim Alimbaev, held several meetings with the head of Sughd region Rajabboi Ahmadzoda.
