President obliges government agencies to buy bread from Bishkekpekarnya

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov visited Bishkekpekarnya municipal enterprise. The head of state got acquainted with the production technology and discussed with management the features of its work.

The President was informed that the bakery provides municipal social facilities and institutions, in particular kindergartens, schools, hospitals, as well as socially vulnerable segments of the population with bakery and confectionery products and other products at affordable prices.

The production capacity of the equipment is up to 20,000 loafs of bread per day.

Advanced technologies that allow to get the highest quality product with minimal resources, partially eliminating human contact throughout the entire production cycle, are used in the production process.

At least 83 tons of bread have been produced for six months. However, the production capacity is only 25-30 percent used. The bakery operates on a self-supporting and self-financing basis.

The President instructed the capital’s City Hall to work out the issue of increasing the production capacity of the municipal bakery. He also instructed government agencies, including educational institutions, healthcare facilities, internal affairs bodies and others, to purchase bakery products from Bishkekpekarnya, products of which have guaranteed quality and affordable prices.
