The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) held a high-level meeting with the participation of representatives of state bodies of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), empowered in the field of public procurement. Press service of the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The Deputy Minister, Ulugbek Kalenderov, who took part in it, noted the importance of the issues of digitalization of the procurement process and the progress in implementation of the list of measures for the full digitalization of public procurement in the Union countries, adopted by the order of the EEC Board in 2022.
Representatives of the authorized state bodies approved the commission’s initiative to develop a digital map of public procurement in the EAEU states, which is planned to be developed. It will contain information on the total value of contracts concluded in the EAEU countries, including details for each member state, the share of suppliers and goods purchased from the Union and third countries.
