President Sadyr Japarov attends Eurasian Economic Forum in Astana

A welcoming ceremony for participants of the 5th Eurasian Economic Forum was held in Astana. The press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to it, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev officially welcomed the leaders of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, and the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, at the congress center.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan also attended the event.

Vice President of Cuba, Salvador Mesa, Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade, Seyed Atabak, Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, Ho Quoc Dung, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia, Nyamtaishiryn Nomtoibayar, and Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates, Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, also participated in the forum.

After posing for a group photo, the participants proceeded to the plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum.

The forum is being held under the theme «EAEU in the Global Digital Race: Betting on Artificial Intelligence.»
