The government of Moscow handed over medical equipment and gifts to the survivors of the siege of Leningrad. The Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Walkers, wheelchairs, canes, special mattresses have been delivered to Bishkek for the third time.
There are only 11 Leningrad siege survivors left in the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the Great Patriotic War, more than 16,000 people, including 3,500 children, were evacuated from besieged Leningrad to the Kirghiz SSR. At least 4,500 Kyrgyzstanis died heroically in the battle for Leningrad.
