As part of the state visit of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to Kyrgyzstan, documents aimed at building up bilateral cooperation were signed.
The press service of the President provided a list of agreements and memorandums signed:
- Agreement on the establishment and operation of cultural centers;
- Agreement on cooperation in the military field;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical sciences;
- Agreement on mutual administrative assistance for optimal application of customs legislation, as well as suppression, investigation and combating customs offenses;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine;
- Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of sports;
- Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the legal sphere;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of plant quarantine;
- Memorandum of Understanding and cooperation in the field of agriculture and food security;
- Memorandum of Understanding on joint cooperation between the Ministries of Finance of the two countries;
- Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Qatar in the field of prevention and elimination of emergency situations;
- Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of activities of central banks;
- Memorandum of Understanding in the field of training specialists between the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute and the Qatar Aeronautical College.
Earlier, the leaders of the countries held bilateral talks in narrow and expanded formats.
