President, First Lady of Albania shown ethnocultural program in Issyk-Kul region

President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and President of Albania Bajram Begaj attended an ethnocultural program at the Nomad Amphitheater in the village of Bosteri, Issyk-Kul region.

Akyns-improvisers demonstrated to the heads of state the richness of Kyrgyz musical and poetic art.

The guests were also presented with installations recreating the cultural and historical heritage of the Kyrgyz people, including craft workshops, the authentic daily life of nomads, and the interior arrangement of a yurt.

The ethnocultural program concluded with demonstrations of traditional competitions, including archery, a parade of stunt horse riders, hunting with birds of prey, and a competition involving the ancient Taigan greyhound breed.

Albanian President Bajram Begaj arrived in Kyrgyzstan on June 18 for his first official visit. On the same day, the leaders of the two countries held bilateral talks, while the First Ladies attended an ethnocultural program at Rukh-Ordo Cultural Center named after Chingiz Aitmatov.
