Man had raped his daughter for ten years in Suzak district. District Court sentenced the accused to life imprisonment. Press service of the Jalal-Abad Regional Court informed 24.kg news agency.
The defendant was found guilty under articles 154 «Rape» and 155 «Violent acts of a sexual nature» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Earlier, the 19-year-old victim appealed to the public and asked for the maximum punishment for her father. According to her, the man abused her for the first time when she was only seven years old, at that moment her mother was in a maternity hospital.
For more than ten years, the woman did not even suspect what was happening in the family. The man was detained only two months ago. During the investigation, the victim told about 43 episodes of rape.
