Kyrgyzstanis went on a scientific and cultural expedition to Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. The delegation included historians, diplomats, entrepreneurs, artists and ethnic designers.
They took part in a scientific conference on ethnic Kyrgyz in Pakistan, which was held at the Karakoram International University.
According to Ryskul Akimdzhanova, a member of the expedition, ethnic Kyrgyz and Pakistanis warmly welcomed the performances by the manaschi and komuz players. She added that more than a thousand Kyrgyz live in Pakistan.
The delegation also visited the grave of Zhanybek kazy, who was the leader of the Kyrgyz who migrated to Pakistan.
