The Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan is launching a new public procurement portal. Press service of the ministry reported.
A new contract administration section will appear on the portal, allowing to manage the procurement process, fulfillment of mutual obligations by the parties, aimed at reducing risks, non-fulfillment of contracts and corruption components.
In addition, to improve the quality of the electronic procurement system data, new control tools are provided for the public and the authorized state body — OCDS open data standards, which is a single window for access to public procurement data.
The department added that the portal was developed in accordance with the new version of the law on public procurement. It will start operating on January 1, 2023.
