Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan suggests Moldova to intensify cooperation

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev and the Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Nicu Popescu exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.

Jeenbek Kulubaev noted that Kyrgyzstan and Moldova have historical friendly and partnership relations in all areas of bilateral cooperation. A constant political dialogue is maintained between the countries at different levels, meetings are held at multilateral platforms, and the bilateral legal framework is being improved.

At the same time, the countries have a large but not yet fully used potential for cooperation, which he proposes to bring to a new level through the joint efforts of the foreign ministries.

«I am sure that the further strengthening and development of the entire range of Kyrgyz-Moldovan relations, both on a bilateral and multilateral basis, as well as intensifying efforts to expand trade and economic ties, is in the fundamental interests of our countries,» the Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan believes.

Nicu Popescu expressed his gratitude for the traditionally friendly relations between the two countries based on mutual respect and understanding.

He is confident that the existing cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the Kyrgyz Republic will further deepen and expand for the benefit of both peoples.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova added that he was ready to develop a dialogue between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, aimed at a constant contribution to the strengthening of the Moldovan-Kyrgyz cooperation in various fields of mutual interest.
