Apple moves its employees from Russia to Kyrgyzstan

Apple has moved most of its employees from Russia to Kyrgyzstan, London and the United Arab Emirates. Vedomosti reports.

According to the media, most of the workers moved to Kyrgyzstan. The current Apple’s government affairs manager, Nazim Turdumambetov, is our compatriot. Sources claim that active work to prepare for moving to the Kyrgyz Republic started this spring.

Less popular (due to high costs) destinations for relocation are the United Arab Emirates and London. Apple has not officially announced its withdrawal from the Russian market. In general, employers are most active in transferring their employees to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, said Mikhail Burmistrov, general director of Infoline-analytics.

On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree declaring partial mobilization in the Russian Federation. At the same time, reports began to appear that Russian citizens were leaving the country and ticket prices from Moscow to Bishkek soared to 170,000 soms.
