The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan returned two children (three and six months old) from St. Petersburg (Russia), who were left without parental care. The press service of the ministry reported.
The return of the children was organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Health and the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in St. Petersburg.
According to the ministry, over the past three years, 38 minor Kyrgyzstanis left without parental care have been returned to their homeland.
«The ministry conducts work on reunification with biological families and a comprehensive assessment of the situation, which includes issues of social, medical, psychological and legal support for the child, for all the returned children,» the Ministry of Labor noted.
