Premiere of two documentaries and one short film from Kyrgyzstan will take place in London. Website of Eurasian ECG Film Festival says.
The films will be screened at the finals of the Eurasian ECG Film Festival.
«Demonstration of the films from Kyrgyzstan will take place as part of the promotion of national culture in the English-speaking space,» organizers of the film festival said.
According to their information, the following works made it to the finals of the film festival out of 100 applications from European and Asian countries:
- The documentary film «Saykbai and the Beatles» by the honored artist and cultural figure of Kyrgyzstan Tynai Ibragimov;
- Documentary film «ZHANYRTUU» (Renewal) by the novice director Viktoria Arkhangelskaya;
- The debut short film «Steps» by AUCA graduate Janaiym Ashimova.
ECG Film Festival (London) is a film festival of Eurasian cinema in Great Britain, the aim of which is to introduce the cinematography of Europe and Asia to the English-speaking public and to promote it at the international level.
