The Concept of development of creative economy for 2022-2026 was approved in Kyrgyzstan. The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov signed the corresponding decision.
The concept was developed to create favorable conditions for the development of creative economy and implementation of the National Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2018-2040. Its goal is to increase the contribution of the creative industries in the domestic economy through the formation of a comprehensive state policy.
The press service expects that the creative industries sector of the country through monetization of innovative ideas and developments in industrial volumes will become an accelerator of entrepreneurial activity with a high economic effect, expand export opportunities and provide employment growth. In the long term, it will reduce the dependence of the Kyrgyz economy on the mining sector and remittances from migrants.
