President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on «Issues of production of documents of national importance and special state forms». Press service of the President reported.
The decree was issued in order to ensure production of documents of national importance in the territory of Kyrgyzstan. In addition, thanks to the decree, it is planned to increase the efficiency of the local companies with the state share, which produce documents of the national importance and special state forms. Their forgery will become less likely.
According to the decree, Goznak LLC, 65 percent of the contribution to the authorized capital of which belongs to the state, has been determined to produce documents of national importance, forms of documents certifying identity of a citizen of Kyrgyzstan in the republic and outside it, and special state forms, including documents of strict accounting and reporting.
The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed within two months to develop and submit for consideration of the Parliament a draft law providing for amendments to the law on Public Procurement. It should not apply to the manufacture and (or) personalization of forms of national passports of Kyrgyzstanis and driving licenses of the national standard. In addition, the head of state instructed to include Goznak LLC in the list of strategic facilities of the country.
