A photo exhibition «Osh Through Eyes of Photographers of Turkic-Speaking Countries» opened in the southern capital of Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the City Administration reported.
At least 12 photographers from Turkic-speaking countries, including Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Northern Cyprus, Bashkortostan, Kabardino-Balkaria participate in the exhibition.
«The purpose of the exhibition is to establish a cultural bridge between the Turkic peoples, to prepare an environment for transmission of national history and art, traditions and customs to future generations, to support the art of photography, recognized in modern societies as a democratic art industry, and to present to the world how strong the Turkic world is in this art,» the press service said.
The photo exhibition will be open within a month.
