Twelve servicemen of the Special Forces of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, who participated in the special operation on detention of the former president of the country Almazbek Atambayev, were hospitalized to the Bishkek Research Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics with various injuries. The medical institution informed 24.kg news agency.
A total of 24 people were taken to the center. Some of them are in serious condition.
In the morning, Deputy Prime Minister Altynai Omurbekova and the Head of the Ministry of Health Cosmosbek Cholponbaev visited the Bishkek Research Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics. By order of the Government, additional medications were delivered to the center.
Usen Niyazbekov, Deputy Commander of Alpha Special Forces of SCNS, died under an operation.
