Scandal at iftar, organized by the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, will not affect Kyrgyz-Turkish relations. Message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic says.
The Foreign Ministry notes that the scandal involving the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Kyrgyzstan Cengiz Kamil Firat is personal in nature.
«In recent years, bilateral relations between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan have risen to a higher level. All conditions have been created for the development of multifaceted and strategic cooperation. The incident at the iftar will not be able to influence the relations of the fraternal states,» the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan said.
Recall, the Turkish diplomat Cengiz Kamil Firat was outraged that the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan invited representatives of FETO to its events, in particular, the former director of Sapat educational institution Orhan Inanda, and left Iftar, organized in honor of Ramadan, after a loud statement.
Later, the Foreign Ministry of Turkey supported its diplomat.
