Competitions are held on April 1-10 in Kalutara (Sri Lanka). Participants compete in six age groups (up to 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 years old) in several disciplines.
Kyrgyzstani Erzhan Zhakshylykov competed in the category up to 12 years old in rapid chess. He won 6 out of 7 rounds and became a silver medalist.
