Kairat Osmonaliev appointed Adviser to Minister of Education

Kairat Osmonaliev was appointed an Adviser to the Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan on Corruption Prevention Issues on a voluntary basis. Press service of the ministry reported.

The new adviser will be in charge of monitoring the execution of a detailed plan for dismantling corruption, as well as development of measures to counter corruption mechanisms in the field of education.

Kairat Osmonaliev is a member of the Central Election Commission. He is an Honored Lawyer, Doctor of Law, Professor, Expert in Education and Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic. In 1994, he graduated from the Omsk Higher Police School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation; in 1994-1997, he studied at the Faculty of Scientific and Teaching Personnel of the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (Moscow), and defended his doctoral thesis in 2005. He has a special title of Lieutenant Colonel in reserve.
