Difference between wholesale and retail gasoline prices is 20 percent in Kyrgyzstan. Deputy of the Parliament Emil Toktoshev announced at a plenary session of the Parliament today.
He noted that he had already raised this issue, but has not received any response from the antimonopoly committee.
«The price of AI 92 gasoline at petroleum depots is 18.8 soms, at filling stations — 40.9 soms, diesel — 30 soms and 44.5 soms. The difference is more than 20 percent. A few days ago, the Chairman of the Oil Traders Association said in an interview that the difference was less than 10 percent. But then the cost of gasoline should be 30 soms,» he said.
The deputy added that spring field works began and high fuel prices had a negative impact on farmers.
«We can not help them with sale of the crop, we can not help reduce the price of fuel, what they should do?» he asked.
According to Emil Toktoshev, the antimonopoly agency does not fulfill its functions.
