Kyrgyzstanis won three gold medals at horse races during the 3rd World Nomad Games that continue in Issyk-Kul region.
Flat races took place the day before within the Games. This is the most popular and prestigious type of racing, in which the best and fastest horses compete.
Nazik Burganakova (Kyrgyzstan) won 1,600-meter race, Meirambek Tabyldiev (Kazakhstan) — 2,400-meter race, Nurdan Zamudin (Russia) — 3,200-meter race.
In addition, the WNG also hosted races in two disciplines. The first of them is kunan chabysh. Participants had to ride 11 kilometers on two-year-old horses. Timur uulu Aktan (Kyrgyzstan) took the 1st place. In byshty jorgo discipline, jockeys overcame 6 kilometers on three-year-old horses. Kamchybek uulu Kutman (Kyrgyzstan) took the 1st place.
Two more types of horse racing — jorgo salysh and at chabysh — will take place on September 7.
