The Accounts Chamber, the Prosecutor General’s Office and law enforcement agencies (the State Committee for National Security, Ministry of Internal Affairs, State Service for Combating Economic Crimes) signed an agreement on cooperation.
The document is aimed at optimizing the interaction of services and counteracting corruption.
«The new order of cooperation will make it possible to exclude duplicate and unreasonable inspections, in particular, in local government bodies, and also strengthen cooperation in preventing violations in the financial and budgetary sphere,» the report said.
It is known that the security service and the Chamber of Accounts agreed to exchange operational information, and in case of revealing violations in state agencies, the Accounts Chamber will be able to appoint an audit.
