Kyrgyzstan should not interfere in Russia's relations with US and Europe

Kyrgyzstan should not interfere in the complicated relationship between Russia and the countries of Europe and the United States of America. Kanybek Imanaliev, Deputy Chairman of the committee on international affairs, defense and security of the Parliament, commented to 24.kg news agency on the situation with the expulsion of 60 Russian diplomats from the United States.

According to him, the step of America and 15 countries of Europe in relation to Russia can not be called diplomatic. «I believe that the expulsion of representatives of diplomatic missions is an extreme measure, and it should not be used in civilized countries that adhere to the diplomatic path of cooperation,» Kanybek Imanaliev said.

He added that Kyrgyzstan should take a third-party position, as other states sort out their relations with each other.

The United States expelled 60 Russian diplomats from the country in connection with the poisoning of the former Russian military intelligence officer Sergei Skripal.

British spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia were poisoned in Salisbury (England) on March 4. The British side claims that Russia is involved in the poisoning by A234 substance. The Kremlin categorically denies this.
