Tourist fee for foreigners proposed in Kyrgyzstan

In Kyrgyzstan, it is proposed to introduce a tourist fee of $ 10-15 for foreign citizens. Such proposal was made today by the director of one of the tour companies Daniyar Kazakov at the meeting of the Council for Business Development and Investments.

According to him, there was a meeting of tour operators, and they decided to submit their proposal to the government. Thanks to the collection of fees, it is planned to develop the tourism industry in the country.

«The money will be spent on marketing to promote Kyrgyzstan, to organize the same toilets. This is a normal practice that is applied in many countries, since we have a visa-free regime,» Daniyar Kazakov stated.
