Omurbek Babanov continues to spend most of all on elections

Omurbek Babanov, the candidate, continues to spend most of all on presidential elections. CEC of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

As noted, Omurbek Babanov’s electoral fund received 32 million soms. The politician has already spent 20.7 million soms.

Spending of the rest of candidates is much more modest. For example, Sooronbay Jeenbekov’s fund received 3 million soms, 398,000 soms have been already spent. Temir Sariev spent 3.7 million soms out of 5.5 million.

Recall, 59 candidates submitted applications for participation in the presidential elections in Kyrgyzstan. The pre-election campaign will begin on September 10. The elections will be held on October 15.
