Court denied lawyers of Ata Meken leader Omurbek Tekebayev in forensic linguistic examination of the word «alabarman» («careless» in Russian) on the suit of mayor Albek Ibraimov to the politician. The lawyer of the deputy of the Parliament Taaligul Toktakunova informed 24.kg news agency.
According to her, she and Kanatbek Aziz asked the court to appoint an examination on the speech of Omurbek Tekebayev, which Albek Ibraimov considered as insulting and sued, demanding to collect from the deputy one million soms in his favor.
«We believe our claim is justified, since a similar situation occurred in court on our suit against President Almazbek Atambayev when he called Ata Meken a «smelly party." The judge of the Pervomaisky court, bypassing the norms of the Civil Procedure Code, appoints an expert examination for the word «sasyk» (smelly). We appealed," Taalaygul Toktakunova added.
Note, the first instance (Pervomaysky district court) decided in favor of Albek Ibraimov, considering the suit of the mayor of Bishkek, who accused Omurbek Tekebayev of slander and demanded to collect from him a million soms in compensation for damage to the infringed honor and dignity.
