Journalist Naryn Aiyp and editor-in-chief of Zanoza.kg Dina Maslova will appeal against the ban on leaving the country. Naryn Aiyp informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, they have a period of six days, during which they can appeal against the decision of the Oktyabr District Court of Bishkek.
«This is not a written undertaking not to leave the city. We did not sign anything. The court ruled without us, without even notifying us. We learned about the travel ban only when a lawsuit was handed in," Naryn Aiyp said.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan filed another, fifth in a row, lawsuit to protect the honor and dignity of the President. The lawsuit was filed against Naryn Aiyp, Dina Maslova, Zanoza.kg and the director of the Legal Clinic Adilet, Cholpon Dzhakupova. The Prosecutor General’s Office demands to recover 3 million soms from each of the defendants.
