The head of the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications, Bakyt Sharshembiev, sues a parliament member Ryskeldi Mombekov. His representatives confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
Bakyt Sharshembiev intends to recover from the deputy 1 million soms and achieve publication of a refutation. He believes that Ryskeldi Mombekov’s statements discredit his honor and dignity.
Recall, the deputy of the Parliament Ryskeldi Mombekov said that the Chairman of the State Committee of Information Technologies and Communications was the person involved in eight criminal cases. Bakyt Sharshembiev himself denied this information, threatening the deputy with court proceedings.
The State Service for Combating Economic Crimes explained that Bakyt Sharshembiev has the procedural status of a witness in criminal cases and is not a defendant.
