Deputies called to denounce agreement on establishment of Development Fund

The deputies of the Parliament were called upon to denounce the agreement on the establishment of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund. Lawyer Kairat Zagibayev said this today at a press conference in 24.kg news agency.

According to him, the legal immunity of the Development Fund is a gross violation of Article 6 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic. According to it, international treaties no longer have supreme power over domestic laws.

«After the story with Breed LLC we will advise Kyrgyz entrepreneurs not to work with the fund. They don’t tell anyone that they have inviolability. We will turn to the Constitutional Court with a demand to declare illegal the clause of the statute on immunity. We will also appeal to the Parliament to denounce the agreement on legal immunity," Kairat Zagibayev said.

Former owner of Breed LLC Vladimir Hegai believes that the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund brought his company to bankruptcy, it worked quite successfully before the intervention of the RKDF.

The Development Fund considers the charges of borrowers as unfounded. Deputy Chairman of the Fund Erkin Asrandiyev said that the former owners of the poultry farm hid from them the true size of their debt.
