Political Council of SDPK excluded the deputy Zhanar Akayev from the faction, own sources of 24.kg news agency reported.
As noted, the decision was made yesterday. The Political Council gathered a quorum and decided to exclude Zhanar Akayev from the SDPK faction. The Political Council can’t exclude him from the ranks of the party, since he has never been a member of it. It is impossible to deprive Zhanar Akayev of his deputy mandate.
This is not the first time when deputies are expelled from the factions. In January 2016, Zhyrgalbek Samatov was expelled from Respublika — Ata Jurt parliamentary faction, since he allegedly had Russian citizenship. After several months of proceedings, he took the oath as a member of Parliament. However, later, CEC deprived him of his mandate.
In the fifth convocation, Omurbek Abdyrakhanov and Ravshan Zheenbekov, who were out of Omurbek Tekebayev’s favour, were expelled from Ata Meken faction. However, they didn’t pass the mandates and were able to work in the Parliament the fixed time.
As the sources noted, the decision to exclude Zhanar Akayev can be considered today at a meeting of SDPK parliamentary faction.
