Kyrgyzstanis win 5 gold medals at International Boxing Tournament

Citizens of Kyrgyzstan have won five gold medals at the International Boxing Tournament that ended in Bishkek. Chief Secretary of the competitions Ainura Sydykova informed 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the day before, the Palace of Sports named after Kojomkul hosted traditional competitions, dedicated to the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union Duishenkul Shopokov.
113 athletes from six countries participated in it. Kyrgyzstan won 23 medals: five gold, eight silver and 10 bronze.
Turkbay uulu Mirlan (weight category 49 kg), Azat Usenaliev (52 kg), Sirozhiddin Abdullayev (56 kg), Omurbek Malabekov (60 kg) and Nurlan Kobashev (64 kg) have won gold medals. Representatives of Uzbekistan and China have two gold medals each, and an athlete from Kazakhstan-one.

As reported, the best boxer of the tournament was Kozimbek Mardonov (Uzbekistan), the best coach — Marat Sakeev (Chui region) and the best judge — Aydamir Eraliyev (Kazakhstan).
