Meteorologists have issued a storm warning for Bishkek and Chui region of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the Kyrgyzhydrometeorological Service, thunderstorms are expected within the next hour and throughout the day on June 29 in the capital and the Chuy Valley. Strong western winds of up to 15–20 meters per second are also forecast.
Residents are advised to take precautions, avoid staying near trees, advertising structures, and power lines where possible, and exercise caution on the roads.
Drivers are urged to reduce speed, maintain safe distance, and take deteriorating weather conditions into account when planning trips.
