National women’s team of Kyrgyzstan took the fourth place at the Asian Wrestling Championships currently being held in Bishkek, UWW reported.
Meerim Zhumanazarova won a gold medal at the championships, while Aiperi Medet Kyzy claimed silver. Gulnara Tashtanbekova and Nurzat Nurtayeva won bronze medals.
Earlier, Kyrgyzstan’s Greco-Roman wrestling team finished second in the overall standings.
